Author Guidelines

Humanology publishes original research articles and book reviews in philosophy and related disciplines. Submissions must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.

Language
Manuscripts should be submitted in English (British or American standard, not a mixture).

Manuscript Format

  • Length: Articles should not exceed 50,000 characters (including spaces). Book reviews should not exceed 25,000 characters.
  • Abstract: A maximum of 150 words, in English.
  • Keywords: 3 to 5 keywords.
  • Formatting: 1.5 line spacing, A4 paper size, 2 cm margins on all sides. Font: Verdana, 11 or 12 pt.
  • Structure: Use numbered sections (1, 2, 3...) and subsections (1.1, 1.2...).
  • References: Follow the latest APA style (7th edition). Place references at the end of the paper.

Anonymous Review
The journal uses double-blind peer review. Authors must remove all personal identifying information (name, affiliation, email) from the manuscript file before submission. Do not include acknowledgments or funding information in the file; these can be added after acceptance.

Submission
Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal's OJS platform. By submitting, authors confirm that the manuscript is not under consideration by another journal and has not been previously published.

Peer Review Process
All submissions undergo an initial editorial check. If suitable, they are sent to at least two independent reviewers. The review process is double-blind and typically takes 8-12 weeks.

Open Access and Fees
Humanology is a Diamond Open Access journal. No author fees (APC) are charged. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
