PHILOSOPHY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<em>Summary<\/em>: When outside the academic circle philosophy is mentioned at all, one immediately feels not only widespread ignorance but also disinterest, and the conclusion about its &#8220;infinitely small&#8221; influence on human opinions about reality is self-imposed. On the contrary, there is conceit and dissatisfaction within philosophical circles precisely because of its absence in the general public. The matter is not in the so-called the death of the book (Derrida); no, the book didn&#8217;t die because it was supposedly outgrown. It is dead despite its availability because the number of readers is smaller, which is due to the fact that in modern times the &#8220;labor force&#8221; has been used to such an extent that its bearers cannot manage to &#8220;read something&#8221; and renew themselves for tomorrow&#8217;s exploitation. Another reason for this death also belongs to modern circumstances, which produce a prevailing anti-intellectual atmosphere of the uselessness of developing one&#8217;s own mind for useless purposes. The academy itself is not isolated from this Stimmung, whose effects lead to the realization of every philosophical interest in both individual and collective perspectives and practice itself. In addition, the philosophers who cultivate their &#8220;love of wisdom&#8221; despite all circumstances have disappeared, and those who are still there are further discouraged by the academy by belittling them. The majority of &#8220;employed&#8221; philosophers stand out here, who themselves are no longer interested in the subject they are &#8220;dealing with&#8221;, except that each of them is interested in surviving in their &#8220;golden cage&#8221; of the academy, and actually in the prison of the spirit.
